- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific(SSC Pacific) intends to issue a solicitation for locksmith services. Theprospective contract will have a one-year base period with four one-yearoptionswith a firm-fixed price pricing arrangement. The locksmith services includesthe following: 1) Change, repair, replace, and install combination locks onclassified containers and strong rooms; 2) Force open and repair lockedcontainers and strong rooms; 3) Re-key cylinder locks; 4) Manufacture keys;and 5)Repair, replace or install various locking hardware. This procurement is100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry ClassificationSystem (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 561622, and the small businesssize standard is $7 million. The solicitation will only be availableelectronicallyon the Space and Naval Ware Systems Command e-commerce web page athttps://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil under SSC Pacific Open Solicitations.Amendments, if any, will be available only on this web site. Hard copies ofthesolicitation and any amendments will not be made available. Basis of awardwill be detailed in the Request for Proposals (RFP), N66001-09-R-0085,estimated to be released on 10 July 2009.
