- This synopsis is notification of the Governments intent to modify its Job Order Contract (JOC) for Repair and Maintenance/Minor Construction of Real Property at Fort Rucker, Alabama, Contract No. W911SE-07-D-0040, to increase its maximum capacity from $25 million to $35 million. The increase has become necessary due to unanticipated delays in the ongoing pre-award process for a new competitive contract. Without this modification, Fort Rucker will have no contract vehicle in place to permit timely placement of necessary construction projects. A determination not to compete this requirement is anticipated to be made Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Fort Ruckers new competitive follow-on contract is currently being prepared by the MICC Center Fort Bragg for a base year and four one-year options with a total capacity of $50 million, and is slated to begin around 1 Nov 09. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers from interest parties, and is posted for 7 days.
