Description
The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center intends to acquire cafeteria services. The contractor must provide all necessary management, supervision, professional services, personnel, labor and material, to operate a cafeteria concession as specified in the attached Statement of Work. FAA anticipates award of a zero dollar contract with a period of performance of 5 years consisting of a base year and four one year options. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside with applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 722310. The size standard is 20.5 M. Screening Information Request (SIR) No. DTFACT-09-R-00022 is attached to this announcement. Contract performance shall commence on October 1, 2009. Questions to the SIR shall be in writing and directed to debra.monzo@faa.gov. All questions are due by 2:00 p.m. local time by July 13, 2009. A mandatory site visit will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. local time with all parties meeting at the Security Operations Center. Security issues require companies to identify personnel whom will be attending the mandatory site visit. Parties interested in attending the site visit must notify the Contracting Officer by close of business Monday, July 6, 2009 via email at debra.monzo@faa.gov. Proposals will only be accepted from site visit attendees. The offeror's completed response to the attached SIR must be submitted no later than 2 p.m. local time on Thursday, July 23, 2009 in accordance with the instructions set forth in Section L. Award will be made in accordance with Section M Award Criteria. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at http://faaco.faa.gov/ under current announcement for the William J. Hughes Technical Center. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award any effort resultant from SIR DTFACT-09-R-00022.
