- ?The Southeast Louisiana Veteran Health Care System, 1555 Poydras Street, New Orleans LA 70114, requires services for the pick-up, delivery, repairing, storage; cleaning, inspection, adjusting and reissue of Government owned home care medical equipment and/or accessories. The intent is to have contractor furnish delivery of "Government Owned" home care Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and/or accessories necessary to eligible beneficiaries under the jurisdiction of the Prosthetics & Sensory Aids Service (P&SAS). Requirement will require pick-up/delivery of equipment in the homes of beneficiaries or other designated points in accordance with Standards established by The Joint Commission for Home Care. Contractor shall be Joint Commission accredited at the servicing location prior to contract award. The purchase of Durable Medical Equipment is "NOT" a part of this contract. The Period of Performance for this requirement will be October 1, 2009 thru September 30, 2010 plus four (4) one-year options for renewal. This procurement is Set Aside 100% for Small Business Concerns with an emphasis on SDVOSB if available.. The NAICS code for this procurement is 621610 with a size standard of $13.5 million. All prospective bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. We anticipate issuing the solicitation on or about June 26, 2009 with a closing date on August 27, 2009. The solicitation will be posted under the following number VA-256-09-RP-0299 this announcement supersedes previously posted presolicitation VA-256-09-RP-0104; no other changes have been made.
