- The U.S. Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the purchase of Voltage Protection Units (VPU) sole source to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614-1385, authority cited 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source, FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the agency. Federal Supply Classification (FSC) Code is 5963 Electronic Modules, NSN is 5963-01-515-0559, and the commercial part number 70600-03055-045. This effort is to provide the government with eighty (80) VPUs. The solicitation number assigned is W15P7T-08-R-F404. Shipments are to be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Source. Deliveries will be at a rate of five (5) each (ea) one hundred twenty (120) days after contract (DAC) and ten (10) ea every month thereafter until completion to New Cumberland, PA DODAAC W25G1U. The solicitation will be posted on the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil on or about 17 July 2009 and will close on 17 August 2009.
