- Notice announcement is being issued for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) to determine industry interest and obtain company capabilities, demographics, and ideas for an acquisition approach. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMAITON (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, DISA/JITC is not at this time seeking proposals, and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked PROPRIETARY will be handled accordingly. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this RFI. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY Requesting information for a power distribution unit or power strip for control (possible), monitoring and billing of power. Capabilities should be as follows but not limited to: Power (options): 110 and/or 208 VAC Power Feeds: single or dual Power Phases (options): single and three phase power Current Load (options): >=20A Visual display of current for each phase on the power strip Monitoring/control protocols (any or all): SNMP (V1, V2 or V3 {preferred}), SSH, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS and RS-232 Mounting: Vertical or Horizontal RoHs Compliant UL compliant Outlet count: >= 8 Optional Switchable power source LDAP capable Outlet groupable Remote control outlet shutdown and startup Monitoring Software The above request for power distribution is to be used for data center type of configuration on a large scale. Information requested for a power distribution strip should be addressed as a single solution and/or a large scale solution. If there are any questions, please refer them to the contract specialist identified above. Questions will be answered after 6 Jul 09 and the closing date may have to be extended.
