Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Office (CGS) in Portland, Oregon has a requirement at San Diego National Wildlife Refuge (San Diego County) near Jamul, California to remove and recycle the existing fencing, supply new fencing (approximately 8057 feet of 4-strand smooth wire on t-posts, with tension posts) and install the new fence. The awardee must be qualified to procure and install t-post and smooth wire fencing and must have experience in working in remote locations where no power, water, or restrooms are available. The receipt of this award is contingent on the recipient's meeting the requirements in Section 1512 of the Recovery Act regarding the reporting outlined in clause 52.204-11 and all other clauses. Project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.Award will be made on a competitive basis as a "best value" award in accordance with Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 15.101 to a responsible service disabled veteran owned small business responding to this solicitation. The criteria for award shall be stated in the solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Request for Quote (RFQ) details and specifications may be accessed ONLY via FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. Solicitation number 80181RQ284, including all attachments will be made available in approximately 5 days and will only be available electronically through a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at www.fbo.gov or www.nbc.gov.
