Description
The USDA Animal Health Inspection Service, Veterinary Services, Miami Springs, Florida is seeking information from small businesses interested in performing a contract for waste removal services. The facility is located at 6300 NW 36th Street, Miami Springs, FL. This sources sought announcement is a market research tool for assessing small business interest in this project. Information provided to the USDA will be used to develop the solicitation and determine acquisition strategy. This announcement is not a request for proposals. The Government will not be obligated to any prospective contractor that responds to this announcement and it will not pay for any information provided to it. A solicitation will be synopsized at the Federal Business Opportunities site and may be posted at the site. The Government anticipates the award of a firm fixed price contract for a base period and four option one-year option periods. The agency will determine whether or not to set-aside this requirement for small business or other socio-economic programs based upon the responses received to this announcement. The contractor shall provide waste removal services. The scope of services includes: removal of general trash generated at the USDA quarantine station; soiled animal bedding; animal manure generated by equine and other livestock residing in the quarantine station. Estimated annual revenue $60,000. The contractor must obtain all necessary insurance for working on an U.S. Government site and will be solely responsible for obtaining any licenses or permits required for performance of the contract. The Contractor shall comply with all state, county and municipal laws governing waste disposal.. Respondents shall provide the following information: (1) Company Information Business name, address, Dun and Bradstreet number, business size classification based on NAICS classification 562111 and its size standard of $12.5, socio-economic classification (small business, section 8(a), woman/veteran owned, non-profit, etc). Provide the name of a person to contact with phone number and email address; (2) Explain your experience performing work similar in scope and include names of current or past clients with phone numbers and email addresses 3) If you are not a local business or reasonably close to Miami, FL, explain how your company would fulfill the contract requirements.
