- Description
- This synopsis is to construct 720th STG Small UAV Facility located at Hurlburt Field, FL, project FTEV 07-1169. The general work includes concrete slab, PEMB steel framing, masonry walls, metal roofing, mechanical, plumbing, fire detection/protection, electrical, communications, and finishes of Small UAV Facility for the 720th STG. The new construction shall be approximately 2,800 SF to include a UAV Storage Area, classroom, workshop, restrooms, break room, and mechanical room. New facility must meet current force protection requirements. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City and Pensacola, FL. This acquisition will be set aside for HUB-Zone offerors only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236210 with a size standard of $33.5M. This contract will be a "Price Performance Trade-Off" contract; award will be made based on the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 240 calendar days. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 17 July 09. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov.
