- Description
- This project consists of providing two 8-person double-wide manufactured homes (bunkhouses) at approximately 1,900 square feet each. Construction shall include the foundation, site work and grading, access to structures, plumbing, electrical, septic, HVAC, and all construction required to produce a complete facility, with all systems functioning properly and efficiently. The living spaces for each bunkhouse shall consist of the furnishings for seven sleeping rooms plus one accessible sleeping room, kitchen/dining area, living room, laundry/utility room and fully accessible (meets ADA standards) shower/toilet room. Specific details for each room mentioned above, as well as exterior finish requirements, will be outlined in the solicitation packet. Additionally, demolition of an existing 20 foot by 65 foot single-wide trailer, and associated utilities, will be required at the Sutton site. Project is located at two sites: Hebo Ranger Station and Sutton Work Center, both on the Siuslaw National Forest (Tillamook and Lane Counties, Oregon). The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. The successful offeror shall be required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds (100% each) prior to start of work. Contract time is 180 calendar days. Estimated start work date is September 1, 2009. This solicitation is a Total HubZone set-aside. The solicitation packet will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about July 13, 2009. Proposals are due by close of business on August 13, 2009.
