- PROJECT NAME: Jon Conley Wetlands Restoration MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: Between $25,000 and $100,000. LOCATION: Miami County, Kansas SUMMARY: This project is for the restoration of wetlands through the Wetlands Reserve Program in Miami County, Kansas. Work is as detailed in the plans and specifications and includes earthfill, water control structure, pipe 12”, grass seeding, mulching, and equipment rate (depression excavation). QUANTITIES: Earthfill (10,193 cu. yd.), Equipment Rate, depression excavation (40 hours), Water Control Structure, 5’ tall (1 each), Pipe, 12” SDR 26 PVC (100 lin. ft.), Grass Seeding, dike (4.0 acres), and Mulching, dike (4.0 acres). TIME FRAMES/DATE: Performance time, including mobilization and days for inclement weather is 60 work days, assuming 10 hour work-days and 5 day work-weeks. Tentative dates for: 1) solicitation packet will be posted July 9, 2009, bid opening, August 13, 2009. Prospective contractors must obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. A DUNS number can be obtain by calling the Dun and Bradstreet at 1-866-705-5711 or via the Internet at http://www.dnb.com. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration can be completed at the CCR Web site at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration can be completed at the ORCA web site at http://orca.bpn.gov.
