Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The request for quote (RFQ) number is EA133M-09-RQ-0775. The synopsis/solicitation constitutes a RFQ and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-33. The RFQ is being issued on an unrestricted basis. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424710. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) require the following items: Item 0001) 83,000 gallons- Marine Diesel Fuel Delivery of Item 0001 is required by barge and will be on July 6, 2009 to NOAA Ship RONALD H. BROWN in Bridgetown, Barbados. The delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination. The point of contact for this delivery is LCDR. Todd Haupt, Executive Officer of the RONALD H. BROWN. LCDR. Haupt can be reached at 843-297-1871. The provision at 52.212-1,Instructions to Offerors-Commercial (Jun 2008) applies to this acquisition and there are no addenda to this provision. The provision 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this acquisition, with price being the only factor used to evaluate offers. In accordance with 52.212-1, vendors shall include a completed copy of its representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3 (Jun 2009), Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, with its quote. [An offeror shall complete only paragraph (j) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) through (i) of this provision.] Vendors shall refer to www.arnet.gov to obtain a copy of FAR provision 52.212-3. Vendors should submit a unit price per gallon of fuel and an extended price which states the total amount quoted.
