- Section B through Section M including Attachment(s) Standard Form 1449 The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), an agency of the U.S. government, is currently seeking proposals from Contractors having the capability to provide the agency's Information Center (library) with an Integrated Library System (ILS) that will meet the changing technology needs of a small business oriented special library. The Information Center's four (4) staff members provide library/research services to an internal patron base of three hundred (300) individuals. All operations are based in OPIC's Washington D.C. headquarters. The current collection of 23,585 items/17,110 titles includes books, monographs, 150 active serials, maps and other formats such as DVDs. Circulation averages 40 items per month and we currently maintain three hundred fifty (350) patron records. The Info Center is in the process of adding a digital legislative history collection and would be interested in linking this collection and other electronic resources to the new ILS. At present OPIC is using SirsiDynix's Horizon 7.32 with access for three (3) concurrent staff users. Bibliographic and authority records are MARC compliant.
