- RECOVERY--RECOVERY--REMOVAL AND/OR REPLACEMENT OF 17 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKD AND 9 ABOVE GROUND STORAGE TANKS This is a pre-solicitation notice for an Invitation For Bid for the removal and/or replacement of 17 Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) and 9 Aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs) prepaired in accordance with the format in Subpart 14.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Bids will be requested once the written solicitation has been issued-on or about 26 June 2009. The Requirement is for various services related to the removal of out of service petroleum storage tanks and associated petroleum contaminated soil and repairs or modifications to active petroleum storage systems. The magnitude of this requirement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. This work will be performed on Fort Belvoir Virginia in Fairfax County. The Contractor shall be required to supply all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the Scope of Work which will be identified in the released solicitation. Bids are being requested for the following solicitation. The solicitation number is W91QV1-09-B-0007, and will be issued as an Invitation For Bid (IFB). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement will be 238990 with a small buisness size standard of $14 Million. This requirement will be set-aside as 100% Small Business. The Pre-Bid Site Visit/Conference will be on or about 10 July 2009. The due date and time for this bid will be at 10:00 AM EST on or about 27 Jul 2009. Bids will be opened beginning at 10:00 AM. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors/bidders must be, actively, registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet set, www.ccr.gov. All Bids will be clearly marked with the offerors name, address, POC with telephone number, and the above solicitation number.
