- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER ROOF IDIQ CONTRACT NUMBER FA9301-07-D-0002. Contractor: Vanguard Construction, Inc. P.O. Box 239, Arroyo Grande, CA. It is the Contracting Squadron's intent to award firm-fixed price task orders to the above contractor. Davis-Bacon wages presently in effect for California. CA070031 (Modification 13) dated 11/23/2007 and CA070031 (Modification 12) dated 08/24/2007 and CA070013 (Modification 9) 08/12/2007 will prevail. These acquisitions are subject to the North American Industry Classification Code 236220 and the annual size standard is $14.0 million. FSPM051395 - Repair Roof Base Support Facility, Building 1610 THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: The work to be accomplished is furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to repair the built-up roof Bldg 3950. Remove existing built up roofing system (BUR) to the roof deck. Install new equipment stands as required to attch stands to roof deck and equipment to stands. Install 3" polyisocyanurate insulation with 1/4" to 1/2" in 12" slope tapered insulation to ensure proper drainage to roof drains and gutters. Install 1/4" dense deck and single ply roofing system. Install wood nailers. Replace metal flashings and drip edges. Paint drip edges "Redwood". Paint roof top equipment Marble Cream. Install prefinished (Redwood) rain gutters and downspouts to replace all existing gutters and downspouts. Replace splash blocks. Install walkpads to equipment from roof hatch. Roof mastics around penetrations and flashings as well as BUR over loading dock are positive for asbestos. For roofs with a slope of 2:12 or less - "Use roofing materials having a Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) equal to or greater than 2:12 - "Use roofing materials having s Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) equal to or greater than 29". This facility is located at Edwards Air Force Base, California. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
