- Description
- On or about 16 July 2009, this office will issue a Request for Quote. The work requires the design, manufacture, shop test, prepare, and load for shipment, deliver F.O.B destination and unload three complete set of stator laminations and stator coils and accessories. Disassemble three generators and conduct alignment checks. Remove old stator windings and stator cores from the units. Restack and test three new stator cores. Install and test three new stator windings and accessories. Inspect, clean and test rotor field poles of three units. Reinsulate the rotor field leads of three units. Furnish, install and test new surface air coolers on all three units. Perform all work required to comply with the site operations, environmental protection, and safety and health provisions. Reassemble three generators. Furnish spare parts. Perform generator special field tests on units. This solicitation is unrestricted, full and open competition, under North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 811310- Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance;
