- RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO Northcom, Inc of Hayden, Idaho, as a sole source 8(a) construction contract under the authority of FAR Part 19.8, and DFARS 219.800, the Partnership Agreement between the Small Business Administration and the Department of Defense. The project consists of bringing specific installation Youth Centers (Bldgs 52019, 6602, and 5485) up to current fire code. The job includes the removal of 6 old shutters, three in kitchen area and three in the Staff Lounge Gym area, and dispose of them; installation of 6 new roll up 1 hour fire rated shutter, tied into the buildings fire suppression system, so if there is fire the shutters will auto close. The contractor will install the roll up shutter system IAW building code, fire codes and Fort Hood Military specification.. The magnitude of the project is anticipated to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00, under NAICS 238190 ($14,000,000.00). The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract.
