- ROADS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT P.I.R. 25(1): The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office, seeks Indian-Owned Construction Firms which can provide all labor, materials, equipment and services to complete this project located on the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation, Pima County, Arizona. Bids shall be in conformance with the unit bid schedule. Estimated price range is between $1 million to $5 million. Period of Performance is 120 Calendar Days. ISSUE DATE IS O/A JULY 1, 2009. BID OPENING DATE O/A JULY 21, 2009 AT 2:00 PM LOCAL TIME. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR 51% INDIAN-OWNED AND CONTROLLED FIRMS UNDER THE "BUY INDIAN ACT." 25 U.S.C. 47 and the Department of Interior Acquisition Regulation. Indian firms bidding under this Act must self-certify they are eligible under the "Buy Indian Act." It is the bidder's responsibility to be familiar with the contents, conditions and site investigation of the project in the proposal package. TERO Fees, Performance Bonds, Payment Bonds, Insurance and other alternative payment protections are required. BID BOND in the amount of 20% of bid price must be submitted with bid. Bidders must be registered in Central Contractors Registration (CCR) in order to receive contracts from the Federal Government. CCR Website is: http://www.ccr.gov. Confirmation of CCR registration shall be submitted with bid.
