- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) (Code 3613) has a requirement for commercial welding services for various components developed from a variety of materials such as stainless steel (300, 400 and 17-4 PH series), aluminum (5000 and 6000 series), medium and mild steel, HY-80, 100, HSLA-80 and 100 steel pipe, structural steel, nickel aluminum bronze alloy, etc. Provider shall be skilled in SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes. NSWCCD intends to issue Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) in accordance with FAR Part 13.5-Test Program for Certain Commercial Items to provide Welding Services. Future requirements will be competed with those vendors issued Blanket Purchase Agreements as a result of this announcement. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS is 332813 and size standard is 500 employees. Reference RFQ N00167-09-T-0165 in any correspondence. To respond to this announcement, download the attached BPA package for instructions.
