- Sole Source. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), MICC Center Yuma, United States Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with US Towers, 1099 W Ropes Ave, Woodlake, CA, 93286-1806. This contract will be for the procurement of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001: Unit of Issue: Each, Quantity: 3, Description: Tower Trailer System #RMTU656MDPLGO, CLIN 0002: Unit of Issue: Each, Quantity: 3, Description: Support Trailer for RMTU656MDPLGO. Several US Towers equipment has been previously purchased for use at USAYPG. US Towers is the only company that can provide the required equipment in order to maintain compatibility in form, fit and function with existing equipment. The RF signature of the new equipment must be identical with existing US Tower equipment. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these supplies, then you must respond by 30 June 2009, 12:00 PM MST. Note the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 5 days instead of 45 days.
