- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, site-preparation tractor, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-31. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation; 0001-Quantity 1 Ea:Site-preparation tractor with 8" tree clearing capability. Must be able to cut and mulch along right of ways, fence lines and wetland areas. Must be able to operate on even terrain.Reinforced plates for operator safety. 4 x 4 wheel drive. Joystick type operator controls, 21" ground clearance, at least 6.7L tier 3 compliant diesel engine. Suggested model; Prentice Model 2864 Site-Prep Tractor with MR-244 OR EQUAL. Hydro-ax Mower OR EQUAL and Fecon Model BH25OH-2 Bull Hog Cutter with quick Hitch or equal. FOB: Destination for delivery to ELMENDORF AFB, ALASKA 99506.
