- Full & Open Competition Toad Escalante Stewardship project includes, timber harvest, site prep and tree planting, authorized by Section 323 of Public Law 108-7, the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution, 2003. The project is located on the Dixie NF, Escalante Ranger District, Garfield County, UT. The project area contains 737 acres which includes approximately 1614 CCF sawtimber removal, 216 acres site preparation for tree planting and 216 acres tree planting. The resultant contract will be an Integrated Resource Service Contract-Tree Measurement Sale-Commercial Services. Contract time ends September 30, 2010 with planting completed Spring 2010. Estimate solicitation issued and posted on the FedBizOpps website July 10, 2009. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the FedBizOpps if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested via fax at 208-765-7223. Fax requests should reference the solicitation. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. Note this project is being issued by the Idaho Montana Acquisition Team but will be administered by the Utah Procurement Center. Tentative collaboration meeting after solicitation issued, date and time to be announced in FedBizOpps. In order to receive any contract award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
