- RECOVERY-- NZAS051056C - Maintain Roofing, Multi Locations - Malmstrom AFB, MT This Award Notice supersedes the award notice posted on 17 June 2009 under RFQ359555, Award FA4626-09-F-0005. RECOVERY Roofing Repair and Maintenance. A request for quote, Firm Fixed Price, was posted to GSA e-Buy on 15 May 2009 under RFQ 359555. This RFQ was canceled due to technical difficulties which resulted in its premature posting. The RFQ was re-posted to GSA e-Buy on 15 May 2009 under RFQ 363741. In accordance with FAR 13.104, Promoting Competition, eleven contractors were contacted via e-Buy to request quotes. This requirement was initially posted as a construction RFQ since the majority of the funding was for roof replacement. The GSA contracts for roof replacement and roof maintenance are covered under two different schedules; therefore, the RFQ was modified to only reflect the maintenance and inspection of 18 designated roofs. The construction requirement for roof replacement will be solicited at a later date. This major change to the solicitation caused the initial closing date of 22 May 2009 to be changed to 10 Jun 2009.
