- RECOVERY - THIS OPPORTUNITY IS UNRESTRICTED and will be available to all businesses sizes (large and small). The USFWS has a requirement to construct a 3,200 square foot equipment storage building with gravel parking area and two rainwtaer catchment tanks at the Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge near Hilo Hawaii, Hawaii County. This will be"best value" procurement with award based on experience, past performance and price. Price is significantly less important than experience or past performance. Experience and past performance are of equal value. Solicitation number 10181RR646 will be posted in approximately 15 days and may then be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at "http://www.fedbizopps.gov" or "http://www.nbc.gov". The solicitation response date will be approximately 30 days from posting date. No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps. For assistance in downloading information from the National Business Center contact the helpdesk at (703) 390-6633. Interested contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at "http://www.bpn.gov". This will be a firm fixed priced contract. The NAICS code is 236220; size standard $31 million. The project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A bid guarantee for 20 percent of the bid price shall be submitted with the proposal. Within 15 days after contract award, the successful awardee will be required to furnish a payment and performance bond for 100 percent of the contract price, along with proof of insurance for amounts specified in the solicitation. A notice to proceed to be issued upon receipt of insurance and bonding. Contract performance period is 180 calendar days from date of the notice to proceed. PROJECT INFORMATION: Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies to construct a 3,200 square foot building with gravel parking area and two rainwtaer catchment tanks. Contractor shall furnish and construct a 40 foot by 80 foot pre-engineered metal building with interior framing and finishes, on concrete slab foundation and graveled parking area around building. Contractor to also furnish and construct two 25,000 gallon rainwater catchment tanks in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications contained therein.
