- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for Furniture Management Services for Army facilities in the Southern California Region. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all personnel, management, supervision, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, and any other items and services necessary to provide: 1) Design services; 2) Furniture procurement including delivery; 3) Installation; 4) Removal of existing furniture to a designated site; 5) Storage of existing furniture to either a designated Government-owned or Contractor-owned site; and 6) Movement of furniture. Furniture/equipment purchases must be newly manufactured, i.e. factory seconds or surplus are not acceptable. The entire furniture acquisition process (including design, procurement/delivery, installation, moving and storage) shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Southern California Region consists of Army facilities in the following counties: 1) Kern; 2) Los Angeles; 3) Orange; 4) Riverside; 5) San Bernardino; 6) San Diego; 7) Santa Barbara; and 8) Ventura. Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0043 will be available on or about 26 June 2009. A site visit is not schedule nor will be held for this requirement. Proposals are due Thursday, 9 July 2009 at 4:00 pm (PST). This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for small business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 423210 with a size standard of 100 people. Performance period for resultant award is a total of 30 months, a six (6) month base period plus two (2) one-year option periods. The contract will be a single award, Firm Fixed-Priced Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract. Solicitation Number W9124N-09-R-0043 will be available on or about 25 June 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/). NO paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (www.ccr.gov), prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
