- RECOVERY ACT: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE MALSR CONTRACT. This announcement is NOT A SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST (SIR) or REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Further, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. Background: The MALSR system at Ohio State University (OSU) was installed in the 1970's and has reached the end of its projected useful life. This project is to replace the MALSR system at OSU and install a new MALSR system. Modification Award: The FAA will modify contract DTFA01-02-C-00175 with DME Corporation in the amount of $700,782 for the installation of the MALSR system at OSU Airport.
