- Description
- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supevision, and other items and non-personnal services necessary to perform transient aircraft maintenance services (TAMS) at Cannon AFB, New Mexico, except as specified as government-furnished property and services. TAMS includes transient aircraft management and control and arrival, processing and departure services for all transient aircraft arriving at Cannon AFB, NM. The contractor shall also provide emergency and special event services as defined in the Performance Work Statement. The contracor shall perform tasks within two (2)-hour timeframe to meet transient aircraft arrival, processing and departure schedules. Large-frame aircraft may require more than 2 hours. The contractor shall ensure all aircraft are launched, recovered, inspected, and serviced in accordance with applicable Technical Orders (TOs) and Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and local directives. This is a frim-fixed price, requirement type contract with a performance period of 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2010 with four (4) one-year options. Request for Proposal will be tentatively issued on or about 26 June 2009 using FedBizOps with Receiept of Proposal (closing date) on or about 30 July 2009. A pre-proposal conference/site visit is tentatively scheduled for 15 July 2009 at 8:00 AM MT, Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico, additional information will be posted with the RFP.
