- NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Health Effects Laboratory Division, Morgantown, WV, hereby announces its intent to issue a purchase order to FLIR Systems, Inc., for a Thermoimaging Camera, IR Camera control and Analysis. Description: FLIR SC620 #Pkg. 243; FLIP SC620 ExaminIR Package #Pkg. 242; 1 ea. 40402-0702US FLIR SC620; 1 ea. 24796-200 ExaminIR Max Software. FLIR SC620 is a high performance infrared system used for science and research applications within the long wave spectral range. With its 640x480 resolution it produces sharp images with high accuracy radiometric readings. Camera portability increases the flexibility of use. A Firewire port is available for real time image transfer to PC for data capture and analysis. The camera is equipped with the standard 24 degree lens. -Image resolution 640x480 -Sensitivity 65 mK -Real time radiometric data streaming to PC over Firewire -Supports windowing -Large high resolution 5.6" flip-out LCD -Tiltable high resolution viewfinder -High performance lenses with USM technology -1-2 times continuous zoom with pan -Picture in Picture -Thermal fusion: above, below interval -Rotatable handle for convenient operation -Built-in 3.2 Mpixel digital camera with target illuminator -Standard temperature range -40 degree C to 500 degree C -Periodic storage -Panorama -Voice and text annotation -MPEG-4 streaming to PC using USB or FireWire -Programmable buttons -User profiles This purchase is supported by justification for other than full and open competition to FLIR Systems, Inc. under authority of 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1). Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the posting date of this notice, their written capabilities statement and pricing information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages. Please forward the capability statement and pricing information to Kimberly P. Groves, 2009-Q-11305, CDC NIOSH 1095 Willowdale Road, Morgantown, WV. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to an award of a federal contract. The website is: www.ccr.gov. The Government will review any/all capabilities statements and pricing information submitted and determine if other qualified sources do exist that could provide this requirement. Information received in response to this announcement will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), negotiations will be conducted with FLIR Systems, Inc. as the only source and a purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
