- Description
- Deliverables The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to overhaul Fairbanks Morse pumps (See attached Deliverables List). The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements Type Contract, containing one (1) base year and four (4) option year periods. The Coast Guard does not possess the data rights to the technical specifications, drawings, etc., required to perform the overhauls. All overhauls must be in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and standards and use only OEM parts. It is the Government’s belief that only Fairbanks Morse Engine Division has the capability to obtain OEM parts, specifications, and drawings; however, other potential sources can submit information concerning their ability to overhaul these pumps and obtain genuine OEM parts by submitting the following: 1) Data that the offered services have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or Government, and 2) Data confirming the capability to obtain genuine OEM replacement parts via written validation from Fairbanks Morse. Potential offerors must also verify that they are an authorized OEM repair facility. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) CALENDAR DAYS OF THE DATE THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED. Information received after this date shall not be considered. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this acquisition as planned. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1.
