- Description
- Project UHHZ 050572 - Repair/Replace Utilities to West Ramp (C-130 AMP). HUBZONE Setaside IAW Far 19:1305. Objective: Extend new utilities from existing points of connection to two new primary utility pits on the West Ramp. Utilities include compressed air, potable water (both for domestic use and fire suppression), communication/data and electrical power. From these two primary pits, utilities will be fed to secondary pits at ten 2-sided, open-ended aircraft enclosures. These utilities include compressed air, potable water (no fire suppression), Comm./data and electrical power. An eleventh structure, which will be four-sided and fully enclosed, will also be fed from one of the primary pits. The utilities required to serve it include compressed air potable water (both for domestic use and fire suppression), communication/data and electrical power. All of these utilities will be installed via saw-cutting the existing concrete pavement. On the ramp, entire panels (25'x25') will be removed and replaced. All enclosures are to be provided under a separate contract and are not included in this project. Award will be made to to the lowest -price technically acceptable offer. The appplicable NAICS code is 237130, Power and Communication Line and Related Structures. The Soliciation will be issued electronically on or about 06 July 2009. via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Paper copies will not be available. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to review the FBO website frequently for updates/ admendments to any and all documents for this solicitation. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) ( www.ccr.gov ) in order to be eligible for an award. The closing date, time for submission of offeror's and site visit information will be contained in the solicitation package.
