- RECOVERY - BAEY040071 - Repair Taxiway Shoulders- Full Depth Ph 3 1. Furnish and place 2-inches thick asphalt concrete paving on airfield shoulders including tack coat and all associated work and coordination- approximately 31,278 SY. 2. Furnish and place Type 1 Slurry Seal to airfield asphalt shoulders including all associated work and coordination- approximately 21,000 SY-in. 3. Remove by grinding, haul and dispose off base existing asphalt concrete 2-inches thick from airfield shoulders (after hours) including all associated work and coordination- approximately 31,278 SY. 4. Seal random cracks in asphalt concrete shoulders, including cleaning out cracks of all weeds and debris by burning and blasting with high pressure air, sealing with rubberized sealant, and all associated work - approximately 50,000 LF. Award of this order is authorized by statute IAW FAR 6.302-5(b)(4), sole source awards under the 8(a) program.
