- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W91DSD91319000. Rugged handheld all optical device used to detect, but not limited to unknown solid and liquid chemicals, to include explosives, toxic industial chemicals, (TICs), toxic industrial materials (TIMs) chemical warfare agents (CWAs) powders and narcotics. Technical Requirements Device must be certified to meet MIL STD-810F requirements for ruggedness and be designed for use in a hot zone and easy operations in full level A gear. Required to be Department of Defense NSERP (Non-Standard Equipment Review Panel) approved. Must have the ability to point and shoot through sealed translucent containers to detect a foreign substance and be able to operate over a wide temperature range (-20 C to +40 C). Additional capabilities of the device is dual sampling and be ready to use in less than one minute from a cold start and have five hours of battery life for continuous use. Equipment -Device -Hardened carrying case -Two (2) rechargeable Li-ion batteries. Other Requirements Be able to withstand shock and vibration Waterproof Chemically resilient Seeking any of the following set-asides: Hub-Zone; 8A; Service Disabled;Veteran-Owned; Women-Owned; Small Disadvantage.
