Description
RECOVERY - THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FURTHER OPENED TO ELIGIBLE SMALL BUSINESSES AS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE UNDER NAISC CLASSIFICAITON CODE: 332420 AND PRODUCT SERVICE CODE: 5430. This requirement is being advertised under product service code: 5430: storage tanks, and NAISC: 332420:Metal Tank (Heavy Gauge) Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 500 employees. PROJECT INFORMATION: Selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to manufacture and deliver FOB to site five each 500 gallon double wall aboveground heating fuel tank systems and one each 2500 gallon double wall aboveground avgas system equal or equivalent to a "Fireguard" tank and related appurtenances as specified within specifications. Contractor shall construct tanks to UL 142 and UL 2244 and STI standards for type of system indicated. Tank system shall bear the appropriate UL and STI labels. Each basic tank system shall be inclusive of tank system, coating system, ladder and platform system, overfill basin (if not integral to tank system), and signs and nameplates. (for all tanks) Requirement includes delivery to multiple delivery locations as follows: TYPE OF SYSTEM DELIVERY LOCATIONOne 500 gallon Heating Oil TankUSFWS Compound Kodiak, Alaska One 2500 gallon Avgas TankUSFWS Compound Galbraith Lake, AlaskaFour 500 gallon Heating Oil TanksUSFWS Compound Adak, Alaska So that the Government may award as much of the requirement as possible with available funding, additional individually priced line items shall include the following as additive Bid Items:1)Provide tank appurtenances plus delivery to the site including overfill prevention valve, drop tubes, emergency vent pipes, normal vent pipes, and vacuum vents. (for each tank) 2) Provide additional appurtenances plus delivery to the site including clock gage, interstitial monitoring gage, antisiphon valves, filters, and foot valves.(for each tank) 3)Provide a tank fuel dispensing cabinet system plus transportation to the site. This includes cabinet, pump, hose, hose reel, static line, fuel filter system, piping, electrical setup, and isolation valves to make a complete system. (for the 2500 gallon avgas tank only) The contemplated delivery order will be firm fixed-price against an existing GSA schedule contract and shall be FOB desitnation to each site identified within the specifications. Award is contingent upon the award recipient meeting the requirements of Section 1512 of the Recovery Act.
