- RECOVERY - "In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act of 2009, Pub.L. 111-5, the Government posts this presolicitation notice of intent to issue a task order under an established Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with the Prime Contractors presently assigned to the Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC) which is operated by HQ AETC CONS LGCT Office, c/o HQ AFCESA CONS CEKC at Tyndall AFB, FL. This notice is provided for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This project calls for Repair of the PACAF Headquarters Building 1102, Hickam AFB, HI as stated in the presolicitation title. The Government intends to issue a task order to one of the SATOC Prime Contractors under the SATOC IDIQ. The SATOC Prime Contractors’ main points of contact are listed on the attached SATOC Prime Spreadsheet (see attachment). Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the companies listed on this form. The purpose of this project is to repair/renovate PACAF Headquarters Building 1102, Hickam AFB, HI. The contractor shall provide the manpower, equipment, material, services, and transportation necessary to ensure oversight services throughout accomplishment of this design/build task order. The scope of work or this project consists of design and construction for Phase 1 of the complete repair of Building 1102 to ensure that the repaired areas reflect a PROFESSIONAL/EXECUTIVE OFFICE environment. This Phase 1 portion encompasses the existing Wing A First Floor, Wing B Second Floor, Wing C Second Floor, Wing D First Floor, Wing D Second Floor, partial repair of Wing E First Floor, Wing E Third Floor, partial repair of Wing F First Floor, partial repair of Wing H Second Floor, partial repair of Wing H Third Floor, Wing K First Floor, Wing L Second Floor, and installation of an ADA-compliant, passenger elevator in Light Well Number 02. The D-B contractor shall design and repair the Phase I areas using the planning charrette floor plans and information attached as a flexible guide. These floor plans include conceptual designs for the wing floors to be repaired. Items for consideration include: a new vertically stacking HVAC mechanical core, electrical, plumbing, COMM, LEED Silver, Energy Policy Act 2005, Public Law 109-58 fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
