- This is a Sources Sought synopsis for acquisition planning purposes. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. All qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Hood Texas is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for a 10 HP Oil Filter Crusher. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333319. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Contract Specialist, by potential offerors or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited. The purpose of posting this request for information (RFI) is to located capable businesses that are interested in providing the required item. Principal features of the product include the following: a. High Volume oil Filter Crusher - Process approx. 6 drums an hour b. Top loading hopper that holder 2 drums of oil filters c. Built in reservoir to collect extracted oil d. Display screen showing faults or troubles e. Automated Operation f. Hopper Agitation This notice is being posted for fact finding and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an Invitation for Bid, a Request for Proposal, Solicitation, Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items or services herein. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this source sought. Any response received will not be used as a proposal. Interested vendors who are registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) under NAICS 333319 should submit a capabilities package (Please limit to mo more than 10 pages total). All companies are encouraged to respond and submit their capability statements to this office NLT 1700 CST 29 June 2009. Your capability package should include, but is not limited to the following: 1. If you perform on contracts under NAICS 333319 and plan on participation in the competition of this acquisition (should this RFI result in one), please provide information relative to past performance. Information should be sufficient to support your capability to supply the requested item and should include detailed references (contract number, dollar value, scope of services and point of contact with their telephone numbers and whether it was a Government or a Commercial type contract. 2. State your business size, average number of employees and approximate annual gross revenue 3. Please list your specific small business status (if applicable) for your company whether a. HUB Zone Small Business b. Small Disadvantaged Business c. 8(a) firm d. Women-owned Small Business e. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business f. Veteran-Owned Small Business g.
