- EFFECTIVE JUNE 22, 2009 ~ In addition to the removal and replacement of the handicap elevator in Building 1 of the NIST Boulder Campus, the main elevator which services all five (5) floors of the building shall also be removed and replaced in accordance with drawings and specifications to be provided. The current system to be removed is a Montgomery Elevator 209E, 36 passenger, 4,000 lb maximum and replaced with a system meeting all specification requirements to be placed in the existing building center spine shaft. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the anticipated magnitude of this project is amended to be between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Bid, performance and payment bonds continue to be a requirement. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 14, 2009, with an award anticipated by September 18, 2009. A pre-proposal conference with site visit will be held with the scheduled date identified in the solicitation. All other requirements, guidance, and information contained in the original synopsis, to include requests for a proposal package, remains unchanged.
