- RECOVERY ACT ACTION. THIS IS ONLY THE PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. NO ACTION IS REQUESTED NOR REQUIRED. THE COMPLETE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON OR AFTER JULY 8, 2009, SUBJECT TO CHANGE. This solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside under NACIS Code 444190 with a business standard size of $7.0M. The National Park Service (NPS) has identified a requirement, on a fixed-price basis, to supply and deliver various lumber and metal roofing materials to build an approx 800sq ft Education Pavilion located at Exit Glacier in the Kenai Fjords National Park, Seward, AK 99664. The complete list of materials along with their respective sizes and quantities will be posted with the complete solicitation. There will be NO Construction involved for this requirement. Place of Performance: The lumber and metal roofing materials will be delivered to Kenai Fjords National Park, Exit Glacier Building site, which is located just outside the town of Seward in South-Central Alaska, 126 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. Vendor must have registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov prior to an award being made. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible vendor meeting all the requirements above at the lowest price.
