- Description
- NOTE: Contractors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. In order to locate the solicitation, Contractors can go to Federal Business Opportunities and search for the solicitation number at www.fbo.gov. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District solicits for the renovations to the interior of Buildings 560, 562, and 564 and construction of vehicle shelters for approximately 47 HMMWVs adjacent to Bldg 560 on an existing paved open storage area. Project features include interior demolition and reconstruction of interior spaces including associated HVAC, electrical, plumbing, communications and fire sprinkler/alarm systems, and building signage. Exterior vehicle shelters are proposed as pre-engineered structures and include site erosion control measures. Also included are any necessary water, sewer, storm water, and natural gas service and connections, as well as associated site improvements. Exterior electrical service will provide by Sandhills Utility Services and the successful bidder will coordinate the associated work with Sandhills. Water service will be provided by Old North Utility Services (ONUS) and the successful bidder will coordinate the associated work with ONUS. Square footage: 23,000 SF. This solicitation will be is issued as an 8(a) competitive solicitation pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988. This procurement is being selected for 8(a) firms serviced in North Carolina or firms with an approved bona-fide office in North Carolina, only. This contract will be firm fixed price and procured using a Performance Price Trade-Off- Request for Proposal (RFP). The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Network Analysis will be required. Options may be included. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 11 June 2009 on the Internet at www.fbo.gov. Notification of amendments will be through use of the Internet. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided.
