- Under the authority of FAR 13.5, the U.S. Army, REDCOM, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, intends to negotiate a purchase order to Delco, 3300 Massillon Road, Akron, OH 44312-5389 This is for the purchase of a Gas Gun Breech with the following type of assembly: a) (3) PCS OF SECTION 1, MAIN INLET - STAINLESS STEEL, 1EACH FOR 218, 300 & 500 CALIBER, b) (3) PCS OF SECTION 2, MAGAZINE CASING STAINLESS STEEL, DOUBLE ACTING ACTUATOR FOR MOVEMENT OF SECTION BETWEEN LOAD & FIRE POSITIONS. (1) EACH FOR 218, 300 & 500 CALIBER c) (1) PCS OF SECTION 3, BARREL MOUNT - STAINLESS STEEL, DOUBLE ACTING LINEAR ACTUATOR WITH PAWL FOR LOADING OF ROUNDS. d) SPRING LOADED MAGAZINE - 16 GUAGE SHEET METAL, (5) PCS FOR THE FOLLOWING GRAINS: 2 & 4 GRAIN (WILL USE SAME MAG.), 5.8 GRAIN, 16 GRAIN, 17 GRAIN, 64 GRAIN. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS, PINS, BRACKETS...etc. AS REQ'D. Delco is the only source known to provide us with the product. No other vendor has been identified capable of producing this item.
