- On or about 8 June 2009, this office will issue a Request for Quotes for work to be performed including the removal and disposal of eight existing General Electric static voltage regulators, electrically isolate existing rotating DC exciters, and rework equipment pads for the eight 40MW generators at the Fort Randall power plant. Contractor shall design, supply, install, test, and commission new fully static digital excitation systems, medium voltage connection to segregated phase bus to new power potential transformers, low voltage DC connection to generator slip rings. New equipment shall be size to future generator up-rate of 60MW. All equipment shall be supplied FOB to Fort Randall Power Plant located near Pickstown, South Dakota. Site visit will be scheduled for a later date. This solicitation is unrestricted, full and open competition, under North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 335312- Motor and Generator Manufacturing. Please be advised of on-line registration requirement in the central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ and directed solicitation provisions concerning electronic annual On-line Representations and Certification (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Representations and Certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to ORCA.
