- This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424410. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is soliciting for Prime Vendor Full Line Food Distributor to support approximately 1000 students during the fall and spring semesters at Haskell Indian Nations University located in Lawrence Kansas. This award/s will be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery Contract for full food line distribution. All material used is to be furnished by the successful contractor. The Solicitation Number for this notice is RMS00090007 and is issued as a Request for Proposal. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. All responsible sources may submit proposals which will be considered by the agency. Products: The food products needed includes the following but not limited to:Fresh Milk and Dairy ProductsFruit JuicesCerealCanned FoodsFresh and frozen ground beef, steaks, pork, poultry and fish productsBread and Bakery productsVarious types of off the shelf sauces and seasoningTrash bags and other condiments Delivery OF FOOD Location: 155 Indian Ave, Lawrence Kansas Delivery Frequency: All deliveries or performance will be scheduled by placing individual delivery orders with the contractor. Delivery may be requested approximately three (3) to five (5) times a month and on an as needed, on-call basis only. The contractor may be required to visit with the cafeteria's Food Service Manager to assist with preparing a menu for specific meals to serve the students. Performance Period: The period of performance will be 12 months from date of award with an additional four (4) 12-month option periods. All materials to be used in fabrication are to be furnished by the successful contractor(s). Type of Award: This contract will be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery Requirements Contract and may be awarded to more than on contractor. This type contract is contemplated with a Firm Fixed Priced that will adjust the unit price based on current market prices. Instruction to Contractor: All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written quote which will be considered for award. Any contractor interest in obtaining a contract award with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Haskell Indian Nations University must be registered with Central Contracting Registration. The contractor shall bill the Government for only the quantity of food products delivered, per call. The Contractor must provide proper documentation with each delivery stating the separate food items, quantities, and prices of the delivered items and shall be left with the consignee. Payment: Payment shall be made electronically to the contractor's financial institution listed in the Central Contracting Registration database. The contract shall submit a proper invoice, itemizing the food product delivered, after each delivery but not less than monthly to the finance office listed in the award document. The Government is in no way obligated to do business with or to enter into in any form of contract with any person, firm or other entity that receives or respond to this solicitation.
