- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for inspection, evaluation, and repair of 10 ORTEC Gamma-X Germanium (HPGe) Detectors (model GMX-10185-Plus-S). The procurement will have a period of performance from the effective date of the purchase order through 6 months thereafter. The set-aside for small business concerns has been dissolved. The NAICS code is 811310. The proposed contract action is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Advanced Measurement Technology, Inc. (AMETEK). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 25 June 2009, at 5:00pm will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capabilities statements to Heather Valiga by e-mail at heather.valiga@navy.mil or by fax at (301) 227-3476 on or before 06/25/09.
