- The Department of Commerce, National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration Eastern Region Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request of Quotations (RFQ) for a firm, fixed price purchase order for Safety Training for NEFOP Observiers at the, Fisheries Sampling Branch, Woods Hole, MA 02543-1026 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13. The RFQ will be issued on or about June 11, 2009 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ number will be EA133F-09-RQ-0684; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The performance period will be one year with a start date on or about July 1, 2009 or date of award, whichever is later, through June 30, 2010, with options to extend performance for an additional two years. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. This acquisition will be issued as an RFQ and awarded as a firm-fixed price order under simplified acquisition procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov, and obtain (and provide with the offer) a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505. The FSC for this is U012 and NAICS Code is 541990, small business size standard is $7.0 million. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating assigned. Copies of the solicitation will only be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. Telephone requests will not be honored.
