- Contract awarded for the development of the Harvest Airborne Weapon Kit (HAWK), or “Harvest HAWK” program consists of the following Capabilities: Capability I: Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) with Video Down Link and Capability II : Hellfire Weapon Capability integrated with Capability I, with the option of Capability III : MK-44 30-mm Gun Capability integrated with Capability II. The three capabilities will require a common Fire Control System (FCS) to operate and control the equipment. The KC-130J Harvest HAWK system will provide air-to-ground assault weapons systems and secure command and control capability to enable the aircraft to effectively perform ISR and assault support missions.
