Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0010 on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. This effort will include all labor and materials required to deliver up to eighteen (18) ECP 4000R1 Retrofit Kits (Auxiliary Fuel Tank, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMS) Ports, Downed Aircrew Locator System (DALS) Antenna Relocation, and Advanced Helicopter Emergency Egress Lighting System (ADHEELS)). It is anticipated that nine (9) kits will be included in the base award, with an option for an additional nine (9) kits. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;” because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the MH-60S design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
