Description
NAICS Code: 541380 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), Region 3, has a requirement for analytical testing services for asbestos to meet Superfund site-specific needs. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12, in conjunction withFAR 13, as applicable. The U.S. EPA intends to award a Best Value Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. The basis for award of the resultant contract will be based on Best Value to the Government, cost and non-cost factors considered. This procurement is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. The associated North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 541380 and the business size standard is $12,000,000. This requirement consists of five (5) line items: Line item 0001 Matrix - soil, Parameter - Asbestos by PLM, Method - CARB Method 435 (Quantity 150 samples) Line item 0002 Matrix - Air (filter cassette), Parameter - Asbestos by PCM, Method - NIOSH 7400 (Quantity 700 samples)Line item 0003 Matrix -- Air (filter cassette), Parameter - Asbestos by PCM, Method - NIOSH 7400 (Quantity 40 samples)Line item 0004 Matrix - Air (filter cassette), Parameter - Asbestos by TEM, Method - ISO 10312 (Quantity 75 samples)Line item 0005 Matrix - Air (filter cassette), Parameter - Asbestos by TEM, Method - ISO 10312 (Quantity 8 samples) All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov). Further, quoters are requested to go online to the Business Partner Network (http://orca.bpn.gov) to complete their Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) prior to submittal of a quotation. The solicitation will NOT be posted to FedBizOpps. Interested parties must request a copy of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) via email by sending request to rajkowski-reyes.alexandra@epa.gov. NOTE: Telephone calls or fax request will not be honored. The anticipated issue date for this solicitation is June 22, 2009 with quotations due no later than 4 PM Eastern Standard Time, June 30, 2009.
