- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane intends to award a fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a four year ordering period for Mil-spec brand name or equal part number MS682119 G2.1, double optimized control cables IAW salient characteristics which will be issued with the solicitation. The contract will have a minimum quantity of 6 reels and a maximum quantity of 110 reels over the four year contract period. This is a non-commercial procurement. All prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry. The applicable NAICS Classification is 332618, the size standard is 500. Delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC-Crane, Crane, IN 47522-5000. Initial inspection will be at the contractor's facility by DCMA and final inspection and acceptance at NSWC Crane. This procurement will be solicited as 100% small business set-aside. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on "Submit Bid" does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format.
