- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9124N09r0036. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for the renovation of office space at Bakersfield USARC, in Bakersfield, CA. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The intent of this project is to renovate office area into three separate office areas with command office, storage and unit common office space. Old temporary walls will be removed and new walls established. Frame out of existing wall, with power and communication drops installed behind walls. Install drop ceiling with new lighting and install new doors. All operations necessary to accomplish the work will be done in accordance with the project Scope of Work and Drawings. Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0036 will be available on or about 12 June 2009. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for Tuesday 16 June 2009 at 10:30am (PST). The primary Site Visit POC is Cliff Canty 805-302-1186. Alternate Site Visit POC: Kent Jackson 562-795-2098 or cell 562-235-9967. Only contractors that sign in during the mandatory site visit will be considered for this acquisition. Proposals are due Thursday, 30 June 2009 at 1300 (1:00pm) (PST). This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for small business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5M. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Payment and performance bonds are required for the project and must be submitted within fifteen (15) days after contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0036 will be available on or about 12 June 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/).
