- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a purchase order using Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13 provisions to GE Aviation Systems LLC for the procurement of Dowty R-391 Propeller system parts. General Information: GE Aviation Systems LLC, doing business as Dowty Propellers is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the R-391 Propeller and is the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, technical data, equipment, facilities, and experience with the subject propeller system to provide the required supplies within the required timeframe. Additional Information: the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336413 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make awards, or be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of the effort mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the government to solicit for or award a contract. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
