Description
The Department of State, International Narcotic and Law Enforcement Affairs Bureau (INL) will be holding an Industry Day in Orlando, FL, August 11, 2009 to August 13, 2009 for vendors who are interested in participating in the program solicitation for INL’s Colombian National Police Aviation Program (CNP). Additional information regarding the specific location and time will be provided at a later date. The Department of State is seeking support services in the following areas: -Logistics, -Maintenance, -Facility Maintenance, -Construction, -Training, and -Flight Standardization. The purpose of this meeting is to exchange preliminary information with industry and to solicit feedback on the Government’s acquisition strategy for this solicitation. For this acquisition, the anticipated NACIS code is 488190. INL CNP Technical Requirements Document and Statement of Objectives are attached to enhance industry’s understanding of the requirement and to allow Industry vendors to e-mail questions to the Government in advance to Industry Day. Questions will be addressed during Industry Day. The Government may not respond to all specific questions and/or comments submitted in response to this announcement or information provided as a result of this announcement. The deadline for e-mailed questions is July 20,2009 at 11:00 AM EST. Please send all questions to Ms. Jamie Goewey via e-mail goeweyja@state.gov. Industry Day attendance is limited to no more than three individuals per organization. Please register via FedBizOpps. In addition, please also RSVP via e-mail to Jamie Goewey goeweyja@state.gov and/or Anthony McIntosh, McIntoshAJ@state.gov. All participants will be required to sign an attendance log which will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website as the “Interested Party List.” This announcement is for information and planning proposes only and it does not constitute a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Request to Industry: 1. Provide recommendations for a cost model best suited for this type of acquisition. 2.
